Supply Chains

Research the companies you are procuring from. Things to look out for are: 

• Waste targets
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Where they produce their items
• Whether they use local labour
• Whether they use a circular economy model
• The materials they use 

By researching these things before procuring a service from a company, you will be able to see where their values lie and the action their company are taking on climate change. You can be more selective of which companies are doing the most on climate action and which have values that align with your business.

Where possible use local supply chains and local labour in your business. This reduces the distance your supplies and labour travel thereby cutting down on transport emissions. If your supply chains cannot be local, consider offsetting the transport emissions created.
